WHAT’S the purpose of that helicopter hovering over parts of the city, often for quite a prolonged period? So long, in fact, that I suspect that maybe it’s not a helicopter, rather I am suffering from tinnitus.

The noise is very annoying. I made a complaint to the local authorities only to be told nothing can be done as it is not a civilian matter. Then a complaint was made to the aviation authorities. This had a similar response.

As political measures are quite pointless it appears negative public opinion is the only method of either removing or reducing the noise creator from the sky.

Summer is on its way and it would be much more pleasant without that irritating machine above us.

Any contact with the Army (owners of said machine) is fruitless as they do not respond. It appears they give no consideration for the 50,000-ish residents of Hereford while playing war games.

Noise pollution is prolonged, unwelcome noise, wherever, whoever, whatever its maker.

The Air Ambulance is on a true mission when in the area, so that’s OK.
