Noble lords should fork out themselves
IT surely must not go down well with voters in ‘austerity-squeezed Britain’, to read how they, the taxpayers are forking out £60,000 a year to pay for a top chef to cook for our noble lords in Westminster!
How are we really all in this together, when an elite group simply cannot eat at normal food outlets, or have sandwiches like others.
I have nothing against them employing a £60,000-a-year chef, but let them pay for it out of their own pockets, or put a KFC, or McDonalds in there.
