CONTRARY to all the negative attitudes and publicity towards the medical profession, I would like to share my own very positive personal experience.

We are patients of Sarum House Surgery where all of the doctors (particularly Dr Heal and Dr Malins) and nurses have given us absolutely excellent care, help, support and compassion during my husband’s terminal cancer. The receptionists were always pleasant and helpful whenever I rang.

This practice has always been second to none.

The weekly visits by the district nurses, with their gems of tips and information, suggestions, help and sourcing of equipment certainly made life easier.

Without the support of these dedicated people, I would not have been able to care for Brian at home right to the end, for which I am eternally grateful.

I would also like to thank everyone at the County Hospital and Cheltenham Hospital for all their attention and treatment over very many years.
