IT’S a great shame that Hereford will no longer have its own football club based at Edgar Street, a major sports venue in the city gone. But if debts cannot be paid, the club had to be wound up.
Perhaps they could knock down the stadium quickly to prevent it becoming an eyesore and then build a new leisure venue for the city.
Maybe this could be a bowling complex like Bowlplex as it’s in a great location next to the Old Market leisure development which includes the cinema, shops and restaurants.
It’s time to move on and create a new future for the city.
