I UNDERSTOOD that the NFU had an agreement that hedgerows etc would not be ‘slashed’ in the autumn as it destroyed berries etc which feed the birds during the winter. Yet around here, virtually all roadside hedges have been cut.
Does this mean the agreement with the NFU is now revoked?
