RECENTLY I attended the annual celebration night at Aylestone Business and Enterprise College. It was indeed just that, a celebration of good things and great achievements.
What was particularly obvious was the teaching staff enjoying the success of the the students, which is a clear reflection of the investment both parties have made.
Thank-you to the Glee Club for their contribution to the evening, it was most enjoyable.
The speaker was Dr Toby Murcott, a science journalist who was very personable and entertaining and clearly passionate about his love for science. His main theme was the changes we will face in our careers, and to be ready to embrace them as we never know exactly what lies ahead.
So I offer my hearty congratulations to past students, current students, the teaching staff and the head and I hope that the next year will bring forth challenges that you will all meet head on with the same enthusiasm and determination.
