SUPPORT our local butchers.
We all shop in the supermarkets but with so many wonderful butchers’ shops in Herefordshire selling locally sourced meats and poultry we should have no need to buy meat in a supermarket.
With all the concerns about horse meat and other unknown ingredients in frozen or packaged meat products, surely it is safer to buy meat from the butchers’ shops which we are so lucky to have here in Herefordshire.
Our butchers make their own burgers and sausages and you can also buy local fresh eggs there as well.
