A MAN has been taken to hospital following a collision between a quad bike and car near Ashperton.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A417, shortly after 12.30am this morning.
An ambulance and a rapid response car were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Crews arrived to find a quad bike had been involved in a collision with a car.
"The rider of the quad bike had suffered a serious head injury. He was treated by ambulance crews for his injury at the scene before being taken to Hereford Hospital."
The casualty was taken to Hereford Hospital with life threatening injuries and the hospital was alerted to his condition. The driver of the car was assessed on scene, but did not require hospital treatment.
