IT'S official - the Sixth Ledbury Community Day will take place again next summer, with a date already ringed by organisers on the 2018 calendar.

The organisers of Ledbury Community Day, an event which by now is a great annual tradition, are once again hoping for a very strong response from local groups and clubs.

Last summer over seventy groups and organisations of all kinds took part, and local people and visitors alike could find out about the very best of Ledbury, from local charity work, lifestyle options, adult education, interest and leisure opportunities, local sports clubs, the Town Council, local food, heritage, support for carers, to bell-ringing and much more.

Paul Kinnaird, chair of the organising committee, said: “We hope again that as many organisations serving Ledbury as possible will take part bringing their messages of how they contribute to the community and how you can help, join or support them.”

"Ledbury Community Day provides a great opportunity to find out what local groups and organisations serving the community have to offer, ways in which you can play a part, or to just find out more about what goes on."

The 2018 event will run at the Ledbury Community Centre, the Burgage Hall, St Katherine’s Hall and many other venues around the town, and the date will be Saturday June 9.

Invitations to take part with full details of the event will be sent out to local organisations in January.

Any group that would like to take part, but is not invited, should contact the organisers at info@ledburycommunityday.org.uk
