Travis Perkins in Ledbury launch defibrillator fund-raising drive
TRAVIS Perkins builders' merchants in Ledbury has launched a fund-raising dive to install a defibrillator at its Lower Road trading estate premises.
A spokesman said: "Our assistant branch manager is a retained fireman and is passionate about installing this device, because he has seen the benefits of having one in proximity, first hand.
"It will be installed onto the external of the building so that it is accessible to any one visiting our branch, or in close proximity."
The unit will cost £1500 and the current fund-raising total stands at £350, after a week of fund raising.
