CHRISTMAS starts in Ledbury this Saturday (November 26) with the switch on of the town's Christmas lights
Father Christmas will arrive, as usual, at 1pm, and he will start dishing out presents in his grotto, the panelled room in the Ledbury Town Council offices, from 1.30pm.
Other attractions will include stalls, a Dickensian New Street and knights in armour.
The switch-on, involving Ledbury's mayor and the Carnival princesses, will take place at 5.30pm, at the Market House.
