Bogus workman scams Ledbury resident
A THIEF took £100 from a Ledbury resident, after claiming to be from a local business and offering to clean up a drive.
The caller took money "up front" for materials, but he did not return to carry out the agreed work.
The incident too place on Tuesday, September 20, and police are warning other residents to be on their guard.
The offender is described as being white, British and short, being around 5ft or 5ft 3 inches in height.
He was of a large stocky build, with a moustache and facial hair.
