The garden at Phelps Cottage, Coddington will be open this weekend, under the National Garden Scheme.

It is a three quarter of an acre cottage garden on different levels, with some steps, and displaying mixed borders, a terrace, a wild area, a stream and a bog garden.

The garden will be open on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday My 22, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

Admission will be £3.50 which goes to the NGS Charities.

Herefordshire gardens raised £53,700 in 2015, under the scheme, and the NGS "is the most significant charitable funder of nursing in the UK including donations to Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust and several other caring charities".
