POLICE are calling for information after burglars broke into the Co-op supermarket last week and made off with "a substantial amount of cigarettes and tobacco"

The burglary took place at some point between 10pm on Thursday, April 7 and 5.45am on Friday April 8.

A police spokesman said: "The offenders forced entry and stole a substantial amount of cigarettes and tobacco. "Enquires are ongoing to trace the offenders and anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 81 of April 8."
