YOUNGSTERS at Busy Bees Pre-School in Ledbury have been remembering and celebrating an eventful and fun year, during the last week of term.

Manager Emma Davis said: "We've been enjoying a fun filled week to celebrate a fantastic year at Busy Bees. We wanted the children and parents to be involved in the planning of activities for the final week of term so invited parents to share ideas on our Facebook page and our noticeboard here at Busy Bees."

She added: "We've been talking to the children, getting a feel for their favourite activities and experiences which they would like to do again before some of them leave us for new adventures. They were very helpful and certainly impressed us with their fantastic memories of their time with us, recalling special times they had particularly enjoyed."

The ideas were incorporated to give us a range of experiences to end the year on including a messy play day, Frozen and Minion day, water fun and a book day. Miss Davis said: "On Tuesday, the children brought in their favourite book to share with us and came dressed up as their favourite characters. We had a Little Red Riding Hood, a knight, Frozen characters and princesses amongst others. We had a really lovely day sharing books, making up different voices and using puppets to act out the story."
