There were celebrations in the Shop at Bromsberrow when the cafe was christened.
After great deliberations by the judges a name was chosen for the cafe in the shop – “ The Cafe in the Village”.
The name was selected for 73 entries and the person who was the winner of the competition to name the cafe, was actually a visitor - Ann Best from Somerset.
Community shop spokesperson, Andrew Perry said "Thank you to all who took part - some of the names were very innovative."
Mr Perry also called for continued community support for the shop and cafe.
He said: "If you need a large space for meetings, then choose the Café in the Village.
"And we are always looking for more people to help in the shop. It is a great place to meet your neighbours, to get to know them and maybe have a chat. If you can spare an hour or two each week or month please do come along and give it a go. Become part of the community."
