Biking Leominster MP Bill Wiggin donned leathers to lead a protest inWhitehall against road pricing for motorcycles.
More than 2,000 bikers, including a number of MPs, rode from Wembley Stadium to gather in Whitehall.
The event, organised by motorcyclists' rights campaign group RiderConnect and supported by Motorcycle News, was a stance against government and local authority plans for congestion charges and road pricing schemes.
Addressing the crowd,Mr Wiggin, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Motorcycle Group, said: "If the purpose of road pricing is to reduce congestion, then obviously motorcycles and scooters achieve that, so penalising them with financial penalties does not have the desired effect.
"By joining today's Ride for Rights, you are sending a clear message to the government that you are part of the solution to the country's need for a better, sustainable and low emission transport system."
