THE summer brings several great family shows – some inside and some in the great outdoors.

At Ledbury’s Market Theatre tomorrow (Friday), the whole family can enjoy The Quest for the Red Herring, a show which could be called a summer panto – combining some of the best-loved elements of a favourite format, including a dame, a genie and audience participation.

The Quest for the Red Herring starts at 7pm. Call the box office on 01532 636147 to book.

If movies are more your thing, there are plenty of family films to choose from. The Courtyard is showing King Fu Panda and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (both PG). For screening times visit courtyard.org.uk or call 0870 1122330.
