THE story of the Bromyard Downs from past to present has been recorded for generations to come.
The filming was part of the Bromyard Downs Common Project, which is now in its third year, and was made possible thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding.
The project organisers worked with Rural Media Company and Conquest Theatre juniors to create two short dramas based on stories collected from local residents by volunteers.
The Fence, a Second World War drama, and The Shepherd, a ghost story, were filmed on the Downs by the project's own young iPad film volunteer crew.
The film crew assisted with editing at the Rural Media editing suite.
The Bromyard Downs Common Project is a collaboration between the Bromyard Downs Common Association and Herefordshire Wildlife Trust to safeguard the future of the Downs and reconnect the local community to the area.
