THE Old Market in Hereford is in the running for a national planning award.
The winners of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence will be announced on July 6 in London.
The multi-million pound retail complex in Hereford has reached the finals in the category of excellence in planning to create economically successful places.
The other finalists are Camley Street Incubator and Gateway Sites Regeneration, Belfast City Centre Regeneration Strategy and Investment Plan, Dun Laoghaire Harbour Masterplan, Park Royal Atlas, Thames Tideway Tunnel and Whiteley Town Centre.
The RTPI represents 23,000 planning professionals worldwide and promotes spatial planning, shapes policy and raises professional standards.
