KNIGHTON Primary School has welcomed 12 new pupils to their nursery section after the Easter break.

The children will be taught by teacher Sian Davies assisted by teaching assistants Mandy Evans and Emma Wozencraft.

Since starting school the children have been practicing their numbers and letters and have been on a listening walk to encourage them to hear all the sounds around them.

They have also made a monkey after hearing the story of a monkey.

Because of government changes to children’s school starting times all children from now on will start school in September making this the last group of children to start after Easter.
