TEN-year-old Millie May Taylor from Presteigne had her very long hair cut to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of her grandfather Jeff Powell of Tremaen Farm. Millie May also helped children who suffer hair loss during cancer treatment by donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust.
So far she has raised £900 but her aim is £1,000.
She had her hair cut by hairdresser Clare Powell in her school Presteigne Primary School watched by all the children and staff as well as her parents Chris and Cindy Taylor and nanny, Snowy Powell.
At the end of the hair cut Millie May held up her long plait to cheers from all her school mates.
If anyone would like to give a donation Just Giving- Millie May Taylor.
