ST MARGARET'S Church may have been chilly on Maundy Thursday afternoon but it was soon filled with warmth and spring joy as the children of Wellington Primary School delivered their Easter Service to a full house of parents, siblings, grandparents and carers.
From the youngest child in Hedgehogs nursery class to the oldest in Badgers class, everyone was involved in singing, reading, reciting and telling the Easter story.
Rev Jimmy Morrison was effusive in his praise for the school children's performance.
Head teacher Mrs Hughes wished everyone a lovely Easter break before extending an invitation to view the newly refurbished breakfast and after school club facilities.
As well as the building being freshly painted, there is a great new selection of large scale games such as Connect 4 and Jenga and a variety of other activities for the children to take part in.
