JOHN Kyrle High School students and staff are ready to embark on their biennial sports tour to Canada and will be going there in impressive resplendence thanks to the generosity of their tour sponsors.

Whilst away, the pupils will be dressed in appropriate clothing to match their activities. Tour casual clothing has been sponsored by Dawleys Services Ltd, so that the pupils can see the wonderful sights of Toronto and the surrounding area in comfort, whilst maintaining a smart and presentable image.

In addition, Dawleys Services Ltd have sponsored the playing kit for both the netball and rugby teams, as well as the travel luggage. This sponsorship has allowed the touring party to play and travel in uniformity.

In addition, FAB Recycling of Cinderford have also generously contributed to the tour, sponsoring the touring party's casual T-shirts which will be worn throughout the trip.

Tour leader Claire Godwin, said that the generous support of local businesses has always enhanced the experience for the pupils whilst on tour. "We take a mixed group of pupils from Years 10 and 11 on tour and so the kit we wear is an important part of the group joining together. Not only do they look really smart, they feel like a team and they represent the school values."

Headteacher Nigel Griffiths said, "The pupils looked absolutely splendid in the Canada kit. Very professional!"
