THE Llanandras Christmas Fair took place on December 9.
Father Christmas was in his Grotto, Mr Bamboozle and Jack the Jester entertained the crowds on the street.
There was delightful carol singing from the Primary School Choir, and Sing Along a Carol from a group of enthusiastic locals, strongly led by the town crier Tony Sullivan.
One side of the High Street was full of stalls and most of the shops were open, many having stalls in their doorways.
The winner of the window competition was the chemist, followed by Elda's coffee shop and the Moroccan restaurant. The judges said it was a very difficult choice as so many shops had made such wonderful displays.
David Tennant-Eyles who led the project for the Chamber of Trade said he was so relieved the weather stayed dry and was delighted with the turnout in the street which was full from end to end throughout the event.
The mayor James Tennant-Eyles said he could not remember a better Christmas fair and thanks all who involved for their hard work and enthusiasm.
