FOLLOWING the Heritage Lottery funded restoration of the Ledbury Master's House the Master's House Bunting Project was launched.

As previously reported in the Hereford Times, the aim was to create a sewn pennant representing every single tradesperson involved with the restoration.

Volunteers from across the Ledbury community, including the Ledbury and District U3A and local schools, were involved with their creation.

Out of a total of 360, approximately 320 have been completed, and these have been professionally backed and hung.

Their first outing was at Ledbury Community Day, on June 11, where they were exhibited in the Master's House library

A "pennants' party" celebration, for all those who contributed to this sterling effort took place on July 12.

There are still around 40 pennants remaining to be completed, to reach the target number, and further volunteers will be very welcome. It is envisaged that the bunting will be displayed in the Master's House for some time to come, for all to enjoy.
