VOLUNTEERS dressed in pink tee shirts, tabards and trainers for their bucket collection appeal to raise funds in favour of The Haven organisation that helps those affected by breast cancer.

Standing at Tesco's store in Ledbury, the volunteers collected £650 and still counting for the charity and this will go towards its programme that offers integrated healthcare, harnessing the best conventional and complementary approaches to combat both the physical and emotional effects of breast cancer and its treatment.

Hereford based Community fundraiser, Lesley Leach, remarked; "This has been a tremendous effort and I'd like to say congratulations to everyone who has made The Haven's work possible and thank you to those who have given so generously".

The Haven exists to improve the quality of life for people affected by breast cancer by providing personalised emotional, practical and physical support to ensure each individual receives the help they need and it is with immense gratitude to the community which has made a significant difference for the better to the lives of all those affected by breast cancer.
