A VERY successful pudding evening was held at the Memorial Hall, Presteigne by Rev's Rockets, one of the teams taking part in the Relay for Life in aid of Cancer Research.
The Relay for Life is taking place in Presteigne on the weekend of the July 2-3, and the Rev's Rockets team, led by the Rev Debbie Venables, decided to hold the pudding evening to raise money to help with their fundraising.
The evening was sold out before the event, and was a great success, with lots of lovely homemade puddings, entertainment by Titley Ladies Choir and a comedy sketch by Ian Marchant and Hugh Pope.
The team would like to thank everyone who came, who made puddings and gave raffle prizes.
A total or £1635 was raised on the night and was match funded by Lloyds Bank making a grand total of £2135.
