STAFF, pupils and parents had course to celebrate recently at the Golden Valley Preschool.
At a recent Ofsted inspection the facility was rated as Outstanding, an improvement on their last inspection which was rated as Good.
Some of the comments made within the report praised the 'inspirational leadership' and 'the manager's uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement results in exceptionally high standards of care, learning and teaching'.
The teaching was labelled as 'high-quality' and the children's behaviour was quoted as 'exemplary'.
Further comments included 'Staff make excellent use of the local environment. Children enjoy regular visits to the community, such as woodland walks and choosing books from the library in church.'
The preschool which has six members of staff and 26 pupils caters for children from two to four years of age.
