STAFF at Specsavers in Maylord Street, Hereford donned their finest bed wear and sold cakes to raise money for Children in Need. Paying for the privilege to wear their nightwear, as well as selling homemade sweet treats to customers, they raised £114 on the day, but added to the £241 raised from a pub quiz earlier in the week, brought the final total to £355. All the money will go to the BBC charity that helps make a difference to the lives of children throughout the UK.

'We do something every year for Children in Need and both the team and our customers really enjoy getting involved,' says Nialle Smith, store director at Specsavers Hereford. 'It was a great opportunity to have some fun and raise money at the same time and a big thank you to everyone that came down to show their support helping us raise more than £300.'
