GREEN fingers provide the lunch at Riverside Primary School.
Since January Riverside Primary School has seen a big upturn in pupils who now take a hot lunch at school, with credit given to the new team running the school catering.
Thanks to the freshly prepared meals, and the importance placed on a whole school food culture, the school has recently been awarded The Food for Life Partnership Bronze Award – one of only three other primary schools in Herefordshire to achieve this award.
Building on from this success, the school's gardening club, have today harvested their first vegetables which will be part of today's French themed menu to help celebrate "Bastille" Day where our pupils are learning all about French life as well as wearing red, white and blue.
