A MARKET town's first 24-hour defibrillator is now in place.
The potentially lifesaving device has been fitted to the outside wall of Bromyard Fire Station on New Road.
It has been supplied by West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
Funding for the box in which the defibrillator is kept came from donations given by Tedstone Delamere resident Kathleen Harris to the Hereford & Worcester Community First Responder scheme, a cause she has supported for many years.
Defibrillators help return the heart to its normal rhythm after a cardiac arrest.
