AN opportunity to make a trip down memory lane and dress up in 1940s style costumes is coming your way on May 8, at 7.30pm until 10.30pm.

The Victory in Europe themed dance is being held at St James Church in Welland to raise funds for the "Help for Heroes" campaign and for the church.

This fun event will be held in the vibrant church of St James and you can even bring your own beer! Anyone can attend, providing you with a chance to discover the past in addition to helping the amazing cause of Help for Heroes.

This charity was formed to give help to those who have been wounded in Britain's current conflicts. On offer will be dancing and refreshments for the price of only £10. Tickets are available at Welland post office, Hanley Swan post office and from Mary Purser on 01684 310289.
