LITTLE Leintwardine Nursery has recently been fundraising to replace the outdoor activity climbing frame and safety surface.
These items were originally purchased when the nursery was set up seven years ago. Since then the nursery has grown and now two year olds join in with the three and four year olds. The climbing frame at present is not suitable for two year olds and Little Leintwardine Nursery would like to accommodate their needs too.
Hot Chocolate Fridays have taken place at the nursery gate along with a cake stall in the community centre in the village. Local businesses and individuals have been approached to join the nursery scheme 'invest in our children' and nursery has received generous donations.
On March 28, between 10am and noon, the nursery will be organising its Easter Egg Extravaganza including the very popular egg hunt. There will be stalls in the school hall with cakes and refreshments. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun.
Hopefully within the next few weeks, the nursery will reach its goal and children in nursery will be able to have fun on the new equipment during the summer term.
