MEMBERS of Knighton Town Silver Band were busy playing carols around the town and in Tuffins, Mid Counties Coop Supermarket during the morning of Christmas Eve.
A total of £190.36 was collected and on behalf of the band Gill Wilson thanked all who contributed to band funds.
The band has a weekly bill of £60 and also a huge bill for insurance of instruments, so all contributions are gratefully received.
The 100 club draw for January will take place on the second Tuesday of the month to allow subscribers an extra week to pay their annual subscription.
