Woman who died after being hit by car near Presteigne named

A WOMAN who died after being hit by a car as she walked from Presteigne to Norton has been named as Zoe Hughes.
Dyfed-Powys Police, West Midlands Ambulance and Welsh Ambulance crews were called to the B4355 between Presteigne and Norton just after 7.15pm last Friday (October 12).
It is believed that 39-year-old Ms Hughes, who lived locally, was in collision with a car.
An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned.
