An estimated 800 people attended a party in Hay-on-Wye last night to welcome Herefordshire's Paralympian Josie Pearson home.
Josie was the guest of honour at a special reception at the Swan in Hay Hotel.
It was a triumphant return for the 26-year-old who clinched Gold in the women's discus less than a week ago.
The postbox in Church Street, Hay, was painted Gold in Josie's honour on Monday and Royal Mail has released commemorative first class stamps.
Even Shepherds ice cream parlour in Hay has been celebrating - by renaming their peanut butter flavour as Josie' Gold .
