A MUSIC festival in memory of Hereford teenager Bianca Hart looks set to become an annual event.

Friends and family of the 17-year-old from Tupsley, who died in June after a suspected asthma attack, held Bee Fest at the Jailhouse in Hereford.

Last Wednesday’s festival was their way of celebrating Bianca’s zest for life while raising money for Asthma UK and establishing Bee’s Hart, a new trust set up to help young people study beauty, dance and music.

The night raised £2,284 and more than 300 took part.

“We would like to say a massive thank you to all the businesses that  donated to the raffle and sponsored the event,” said Bianca’s sister Charlotte Hart, who also praised all the family and friends who made the night a success.

“We’re now planning to make Bee Fest an annual event to showcase up and coming young artists.”

Bianca’s friend Jake Gamble performed live, singing a song he co-wrote with Bianca's boyfriend Elliot Mills in memory of Bee, while DJs included Will Loughman, Chris Williams and Alex Goulding.

Photographer Jimmy Gough was on hand to capture the night on camera, while top raffle prizes included a helicopter ride, meals out, a ride in a camper van and a night in a studio apartment.
