AFTER years of waiting, Kington ’s new medical centre will open its doors later this month.
The surgery in Eardisley Road is officially opening to patients on September 17.
The old surgery will close at 6pm on September 16 with smaller branch surgeries in nearby Pembridge and Eardisley seeing any further patients until the takeover.
The new medical centre boasts consulting and nursing rooms, a triage, a minor operation suite, a private dental surgery, as well as counselling and training rooms. It will open from 8.30am to 6pm on weekdays.
There will be an open day at the new surgery for invited guests on September 13.
