Don Giovanni recorded at the Salzburg Festival in 2008 will be screened at Booth’s Bookshop Cinema in Hay-on-Wye tomorrow.
Directed by Claus Guth and starring Christopher Maltman as the promiscuous nobleman, this production takes Mozart's opera out of its traditional squares and palaces and into the wild woods, where animals live, mystery lurks, and the notorious ladies’ man seeks shelter.
