COMMUNITY LARDERS - This project provides food to individuals and families in need around Herefordshire. Please donate nonperishable food such as tins of meat, fish, fruit, rice pudding and vegetables.

PRIMARY SCHOOL - The jubilee day on the recreation ground was very well supported, raising lots of money towards the new minibus. Some pupils and parents made the trip to Garway Hill to see the beacon being lit, and enjoyed the bonfire and fireworks provided courtesy of Garway Hill Commoners’ Association.

WINE AND CHEESE PARTY - Everyone in the benefice is invited to St Michael’s Hall today (Thursday) at 7.30pm to see what has been done to date with the aid of lottery money and the grant received from the New Grove Trust, and to hear what it is hoped to do in the future. There will be no charge but there will be a draw and donations will be invited towards the cost of the wine.

MISSION COFFEE MORNING - On Saturday, 10am-noon in the Methodist Chapel, all are welcome.

CHILDREN’S SOCIETY - Everyone who has a Children’s Society box should bring it to St Michaels Church on Sunday, if they have not already handed it to a churchwarden.

FARM OPEN - Barton Hill Farm will be open on Sunday from 2pm-4pm. Suitable for all ages. Come for a trailer ride in the beautiful Monnow Valley see the farming, food production and hear talks from relevant speakers.

The event is free but donations go to St Mary’s Kentchuch and the Little Princess Trust.

MONNOW VALLEY ARTS - Exhibitions on at the moment include John Bulmer’s colour photographs of a changing Britain. Susan Milne is showing work in progress from her land and memory project looking at the way people have left traces in the Black Mountains. Susan will hold a workshop on Saturday.
