The Galliard Ensemble
HEREFORD Concert Society presents one of Britain’s leading chamber groups, The Galliard Ensemble, former BBC New Generation Artists who will soon celebrate their 20th anniversary.
They have played in many prestigious venues, including Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre and Bridgewater Hall, at festivals throughout Europe and have appeared at the BBC Proms. Their work has been well-received by critics from BBC Radio 3, BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone.
Their performance at The Courtyard will include Taffenel’s Quintet in G Minor, Patterson’s Comedy for Five Woods and Ilbert’s Trois Pieces Breves.
