DIRECTED by and starring Olivier Award-winner Maureen Lipman, Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre presents a spectacular revival of Neil Simon’s award-winning comedy, Barefoot in the Park, at Malvern Theatres.
Corrie and Paul have just moved into their cold eyrie of an apartment, and the building seems to be populated by unusual characters, the most bohemian being Victor. The newly-weds’ troubles come to a head when Corrie tries playing Cupid between Victor and her lonely mother and after a disastrous dinner party she learns that walking barefoot in the park may not necessarily denote joie de vivre… Maureen Lipman stars as Mrs Banks, joined by Oliver Cotton, Faye Castelow and Dominic Tighe.
