CRICKET professionals have gained work experience at a Hereford company.

James Cameron and Matthew Pardoe from Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC) visited payment specialists allpay for an afternoon's work experience.

This formed part of the Professional Cricketers' Association personal development winter programme that helps gain work experience and develop key skills to prepare for retirement from the sport.

Pam Wooden, allpay's human resources manager, was impressed with their positive attitude saying she would happily welcome them back to gain more experience.

The core business of the company, based at Whitestone Business Park, concentrates on providing bill payment services - primarily to the public sector – and handles around £3.6 billion a year across 44 million transactions.
