A Leominster chip shop has hatched a plan to ensure their Easter treats fly out of the fryer.

The Square is offering battered Creme Eggs along with the already established offerings of battered Mars, Snickers and Curly Wurly’s.

Andrew Rogers, who owns the Corn Square eatery with his brother Brian, said an average of 100 battered snacks are being snapped up each week.

The Creme Egg special, priced 80p, is cooked in vegetable oil and contains an estimated 200 calories.
