A MOTORCYCLIST died following an accident in Herefordshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Ashton at around 2.20pm yesterday afternoon.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and two Midlands Air Ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Suzie Fothergill, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman, said: “Crews arrived on scene to find a man lying on the verge of the road, with his motorbike found nearby.
“Crews immediately commenced emergency medical treatment and full resuscitation attempts were carried out.
"Unfortunately despite best efforts of ambulance personnel, nothing could be done to save the man who was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
