TWO controlled explosions have just taken place on a van parked outside Tesco in Belmont, Hereford.
The bomb disposal unit were sent to the store after Police pulled over a van shortly before midday.
But an eyewitness has said that the controlled explosions made little impact as the van did not move.
Police have confirmed that they pulled over the van in relation to a domestic incident.
A device was found to be attached to it, but at this stage it is unclear if it is a bomb.
The store and petrol station were immediately evacuated and a 200 metre cordon placed around the van.
The whole of Belmont Road is currently closed, with diversions put in place in Grafton Lane and Ross Road.
Witnesses have said that traffic is very bad at the moment, with one woman saying that she has been stuck for over an hour.
