LAPLAND CHRISTMAS FAIR - On November 19, the Lapland Christmas Fair will be opened by the Mayor of Hereford at 10am at St John’s Methodist Church and Hall, St Owen Street. There will be stalls, entertainment, refreshments and Father Christmas in his workshop. Admission is free.
CHARITY FOLK CONCERT - Roy Bailey, Martyn Wyndham-Read and others will appear at the Shire Hall on Saturday, 7pm to 11pm. Tickets £15 (students £5) from Outback Records in Church Street or on the door. Call 01432 275063. In aid of Oxfam, Water Aid and Friends of the Earth.
CHRISTMAS FAIR - Everyone is invited to a Christmas fair and coffee morning at Martha Trust, Hampton Green, Old Eign Hill, on Tuesday from 10am to noon. There will be a grand draw, Christmas cards, cakes and stalls. Call 01432 279314 for details.
ZOZULENKA - Experience the culture and excitement of Ukraine through the singing and dancing of Zozulenka, a brand new group from the School of Arts, at Hereford Baptist Church, Commercial Road on November 23 at 7.30pm. The performance is on behalf of Hope Now.
BINGO - Marks and Spencer charity bingo is at the Welsh Club today (Thursday). Doors open 7.15pm, eyes down at 8pm. All money raised will go to the Little Princess Trust.
BOWLING CLUB - On Saturday, Hereford Bowling Club, Bewell Street, will hold a presentation of club trophies at 7pm, followed by Stuart Hall’s Race Night at 7.30pm. There will also be a light supper and raffle.
