POLICE would like to speak to a driver of a car who may have witnessed a crash on the A49 at Dinmore Hill on Tuesday night.

Two cars were attempting to overtake a 4x4 towing a trailer near the A417 junction, when a collision occurred between the second car and another car coming in the opposite direction.

Two women were taken to Hereford County Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident, which happened at 7.20pm, led to the A49 being closed at Dinmore Hill for more than three hours.

The first car that overtook the other vehicle has been described as a silver or white Volkswagen and police would like to speak to the driver.
