NOT many girls return to their old school on their wedding day.
But that is just what Annabel Ruth de la Garde Savery did when she married Anthony James Stones at St Mary’s Church, Bedstone, close to the Herefordshire border.
Annabel was head girl of her college at Bedstone, near Bucknell, where her mother is head of early years.
After leaving Bedstone College, Annabel went on to study English at the University of Reading.
She then worked as an editor for Discovery Books in Ludlow before going freelance and moving to London to study for her masters degree in English literature at Queen Mary’s London.
Anthony comes from Hereford, where he attended Hereford Cathedral School.
After gaining his degree at Warwick University he too moved to London to study for an MFA in theatre directing at Birkbeck.
They both work in London where Anthony is also a freelance theatre director and playwright.
Annabel and Anthony have made their home in London.
